Welcome and congratulations on your Next of Kin purchase. Your piece is one-of-a-kind, original creation, signed and numbered by designer, True North, certifying its authenticity as a genuine Next of Kin garment. We share a deep love and connection with our pieces, as each emerges from an ongoing conversation with it.
You see, when we first handle a reclaimed material, we ask what it wants to become, and then we listen and keep listening, following the inspiration and guidance whispered to us during its creation. In a sense, our pieces design themselves, and we watch them emerge, much to our own delight, wonder, and excitement. When they come off the dress form, they are lovingly stitched. Many pieces entail hours of hand stitching to bring out the detail our pieces are known for. Love is literally stitched into your garment. We all know there's a lot of "fast fashion" out there. Congratulations on selecting and wearing couture over fashion.
You have the option of registering your garment with us. If you do so, the real magic behind our clothing begins. You'll gain access to the inspiration behind your piece and see photos of the materials we used to create your fabulous keepsake. Yes, we take "before" photos of the textiles and "found treasures" we lovingly incorporate into your beautiful piece. You are, after all, wearing the only one of its kind on the planet. Our planet wins by us extending the life of textiles that her resources have already been used to create, and you win, wearing this rare-found art. Extra Credit is the love you'll feel each time you do.

Your NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS
SUBJECT: "Garment Registration"
MESSAGE: Write "REGISTER GARMENT," and enter your unique garment number found on the label.
You will receive an email response from us with before photos, and the story / inspiration behind your Next of Kin piece.
